When was the last time your Employment Agreements were updated?
On 1 April 2016 the Employment Standards Legislation Bill was introduced, which aims to prohibit zero-hour contracts along with other amendments to current Acts. The good news for Employer’s is that this Legislation included a grace period for Employment Agreements to be updated. However, the end of this period is fast approaching and ends 1 April 2017. The amendments include zero-hour contracts, availability, secondary employment provisions, cancellation of shifts for shift workers and deductions.
