Why is a good CV so important?

Hi Simone, I contacted you to have my c.v. set up in a more presentable way and also got you to help me with a cover letter.

I just wanted to let you know that the new, improved c.v. did the trick and I have resigned my position with and I'm starting my new job on Monday.  I have got an awesome role and my salary has increased to $55,000 (currently I am on $39,000!).  It was in no small part due to the CV as I got a lot of call backs once I started sending it out when applying for jobs, and my new role was certainly worth waiting for!
