HR Advisor - Tuakau

This is a newly created position, working alongside the leadership team as well as the Global HR team based in the Netherlands. Bromley Park Hatcheries has recently been acquired by a global innovator renowned for pioneering sustainable practices and an unwavering commitment to feeding the world. We are delighted to share that the Hendrix Genetics team will now be working alongside the team at Bromley Park Hatcheries.

The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate into the role and hit the ground running as a crucial part of the NZ leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager.

The Advisor position will be 'hands on' from cultivating the right culture through to recruiting the ideal team. The role is diverse, encompassing the full recruitment cycle through to induction and onboarding, as well as the implementation of policies and training.

Our ideal advisory will have:

  • At least 3 years advisory experience, or at least 5 years' human resources administration experience and recruitment experience

  • A tertiary qualification in HR or Business

  • An action-oriented behaviour with a sense of urgency

  • The ability to think on their feet and provide innovative solutions

  • Engagement and interest in your local community

  • A good knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation

  • Experience in blue collar recruitment and creative in ability to find short term labour

  • Awareness of the immigration process

  • A down to earth and willing nature

  • Experience in a livestock or similar industry is ideal.
