About the role

Are you ultra-organised, creative, and ready to take marketing initiatives from concept to completion? Acorn Furniture is looking for a skilled Marketing Coordinator to coordinate our marketing strategies and produce top-notch content across digital and traditional platforms. This role offers location flexibility and can be based in Motueka, Christchurch, or Auckland, depending on the best fit for the role and the candidate's location. In this dynamic and varied role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify marketing opportunities and create project-specific content

  • Maintain our website with up-to-date products, completed projects, and engaging blog posts

  • Lead product launches and execute tailored marketing campaigns across multiple channels

  • Develop industry-specific product brochures and presentations

  • Coordinate photoshoots, client gifting logistics, and conference exhibitions

  • Manage marketing budgets and contractors

The ideal Marketing Coordinator:

You will take ownership of marketing initiatives, from concept to execution, ensuring our brand is represented with engaging content across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be willing to travel within New Zealand occasionally and is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at collaborating with various teams to drive successful campaigns. You will also have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar marketing role, preferably with a marketing degree

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office

  • Strong attention to detail, graphic design skills, and organisational ability

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines

  • A customer-focused mindset

  • A team player attitude
