People Administrator – New Plymouth

People Passion was founded on the vision to make life easier and less complicated for SME businesses. Due to exciting growth that shows no signs of slowing, we are on the search for an experienced People Administrator to join our energetic team and work with our diverse client base, based in our New Plymouth office. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm, however we are flexible for the right candidate.

About Us:

Our head office is based in Auckland, and we launched our offering in New Plymouth, Taranaki in 2020, where this role will be based. We work within a wide range of industries and provide on-call HR and Recruitment service that is practical, unique and people focused. Our strong growth is a result of the outstanding outcomes our team delivers, which continues to create referral business.

We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable People Administrator to come on board and assist in all areas of the business.

Every day is different however some of your key responsibilities are:

  • General admin duties including answering phones, helping maintain our office, and assisting with workflow

  • HR Support – assist our People Partners with drafting Agreements, Position Descriptions, and a wide range of HR documentation

  • Recruitment Support – assist our People Partners with drafting and posting Adverts, screening applicants, organising interviews, and conducting reference checks

  • EA support – diary management of the New Plymouth team, assist with organising events, booking travel as and when needed

Our Wish List:

  • Previous office or legal administration, PA/EA or office management experience advantageous  

  • Previous exposure to Recruitment or HR administration a bonus

  • Tech Savvy and a whiz on Microsoft 365 including TEAMs

  • Someone with excellent attention to detail and strong document control

  • You will have a real interest in personal growth and have a passion for business and people
