About the role:
As the Parts Manager/Inventory Controller based in Takanini, you will join the Parts Department, responsible for managing the stock levels for 3 departments: service, fabrication and assembly as well as managing staff at their Takanini
You will be responsible for liaising with Hammar Sweden to ensure correct parts are delivered, ordering stock for parts manufactured in the workshop and updating the stock levels in stock management software (SAM) and stock takes.
As well as:
Arrange painting and delivery of trailer chassis & cranes to painters
Ordering of axles, brakes, lights, etc for newly build trailers
Maintain workshop tool inventory and organise workshop tool warranty claims and repairs
Continual improvements on stock levels and storage
Communicating with suppliers
The ideal Parts Manager/Inventory Controller:
3 years' plus experience handing stock / inventory
A responsible attitude to workplace safety
The ability to work collaboratively with others
High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Attentive and productive during work hours
Car licence
Computer savvy, familiar with Excel, Word, outlook etc
